I witnessed this amazing yet incredibly scary awkward family photo!!! I mean seriously… how could I pass up the opportunity to capture that! Their friend was capturing that perfeftly posed portrait, we had to as well!!!

My new favorite Thai dish! CHICKEN KHAO SOI!!!!! It’s a Burmese infulenced dish that is very popular and served widely especially in Laos & northern Thailand. It’s a bowl of egg noodles and a delicious tender chicken leg covered in a ridicuously good coconut curry, topped with crispy noodles, lime, shallots and pickled cabbage to your taste. It’s seriously as awesome as it sounds!!!!!

The day I had Khao Soi we were in service! That morning we had a great experience on a man who was working on a construction site (I believe he was the boss or foreman on the job). Marikka, Emily and I walked up the trailer and introduced ourselves, he invited us in, pulled up chairs and offered cold water! As soon as he saw the website/QR code he pulled out him smart phone and scanned it! Then he filed out the back of the tract, requesting more information. He told us he wanted to learn more about the bible! He asked about what we do and was very very impressed, especially the fact it’s all done voluntarily, we don’t get paid to go in the ministry. It was such an awesome experience! It’ll be turned over to a brother, so I’m excited to see what happens!!!
Girl’s night out!!!!!

Girl’s night oouuttt!! We went to the top of the Hilton hotel which is right on the beach! It was an incredible view!
Visiting Bangkok Bethel!!!

Dining room! The beautiful mural was painted by a brother. Originally the mural was only half this big but when Bethel expanded the dining room and added onto the wall he came back and continued the painting to double it’s size!

Oh WOW!! Love this post!! Especially the construction worker story!! AWESOME. Something wonderful for you & Marikka to experience before she headed home! βΊοΈ
I want to eat that delicious sounding noodle/chicken dish. I wonder if we can find that prepared in a restaurant around Portland/Vancouver? Sounds delicious! Are you tired of chicken, rice & vegetables yet? πππ²
It just started POURING here. βοΈ It’s bean beautiful here, and the garden is getting watered, so I’m not complaining… Much! π
Love you tons!
