Flyin’ in Style! ;) ~PDX-NARITA-BKK~

I’ve been on many airplane rides in my life and have become accustomed to regular planes… three seats on each side with one aisle down the middle. Which I thought was the case with All planes. I found out international flights are quite a bit more extravagant! the plane that took me to Tokyo than to Bangkok were not  the same ‘little planes’ that took me to Disneyland or even the one I took to New York when I was 12! These 747s were monsters, I’m talking three stories, 10 seats in width with two aisles & a max capacity of 376 people!!! It was quite a sight😳✈️Also, I’d never been on a flight long enough to warrant serving meals. as dhown in the pic I had teriyaki chicken with rice, salad, dinner roll, cookie and drink of choice. Then, a breakfast sandwich, fruit cup and OJ! I must say I had extremely low expectations of airplane good buuuuut I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was! (Delta Dinner = solid B+) I not only got dinner but an unlimited supply of movies, tv and music of my choice to go with it! That made my 18 hour flight much easier! All in all it was a great traveling experience… loooooong but easy and relaxing! 🙂

My fam helped me out so much in getting all my things together… making sure I had everything I’d need in order to travel internationally! Passport, Visa, International permits, hot tamales… The essentials!! And I’m happy to say it was all smooth sailing! Also, a huge thank you goes to my Justin for his wonderfully thoughtful plane care package! It definitely came in handy my love! Al, of it was perfect! ❤️😘 You know a girls gotta have her Mike & Ike’s… Megs little miracle pills!!! 😉 those alone made everything easier!!😉Image

        Love you, Grandma Chris

  1. So happy to hear to you made it to your destination safe, sound, and had such an enjoyable flight. I know we all were on pins and needles until getting the “All Clear / Thumbs Up / A-OK” message that you had arrived in Pattaya. “Baby bird has left the nest… Is in flight…. And safely landed.” All the mamas and papas are observing and at the ready if needed. 😉

So proud of you and praying for you to enjoy each and every day of your stay in Thailand, even the mishaps – because those are beneficial too with the right attitude, which I know you have.

I just have to write: Thank you for expressing your love and appreciation so humbly and publicly. I hear what you are experiencing on your adventure is exactly the benefits of Jehovah’s instruction. He tells us in so many scriptures to be obedient and listen to our parents and older ones, which does not have an age expiration. In adult life “listening”, meaning respectfully and thoughtfully taking into consideration their thoughts, and benefiting from their knowledge and experience, for life to go well for us. He certainly knows by doing this we benefit ourselves in things large and small. And how some seemingly small things can become very large things – Old adage “The Devil is in the details.” Those with life experience certainly can help us to navigate the tricky parts of life and save us much grief.

What is so exceptional about you and Justin is that the two of you at such a young age understand, practice, and appreciate that life does go so much better when you incorporate into your decision making and planning process the insights of those who love you so much and have such a vested interest in your well being. Usually, that doesn’t happen for most people until mid to late twenties, or later – if ever, and some people have serious consequences to live with because of it, instead of awesome adventures, experiences and memories.

We, parents, do not have all the answers and aren’t always right, however Proverbs 15:22 says, “Plans fail when there is no consultation, But there is accomplishment through many advisers. Of course, Jehovah is the best adviser we can ever consult.
“Glory be to Jehovah our God for his loving counsel and to Jesus for his fine example as a Son!

    Lots of Love,

    Paulina

    • Thank you Paulina!!!! That was so thoughtful and kind of you! I love the encouraging scriptures you shared as we’ll, much appreciated! 🙂 You have always been so generous and kind, always so helpful and being there for me! It means SO much! Well, I just had to tell everybody how much I appreciate all their help and express my love to each and everyone! Aww Thank you, Justin & I have great parents who are wonderful examples for us to follow and gain much wisdom from. You all mean the world to both of us!

      ❤️Meg
